Title: Talent Acquistion Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data, track progress, and maintain accurate recruitment records.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the HRIS or recruitment system.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of employment offers, including salary discussions and benefits.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and fit for the position.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Review and screen incoming resumes and applications, shortlisting candidates based on defined criteria.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, knowledge of labour laws and regulations, and experience with HR metrics and analytics.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in HR data management.
