Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data, track progress, and maintain accurate recruitment records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the HRIS or recruitment system.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of employment offers, including salary discussions and benefits.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and fit for the position.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  • Review and screen incoming resumes and applications, shortlisting candidates based on defined criteria.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, knowledge of labour laws and regulations, and experience with HR metrics and analytics.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in HR data management.

Experience

Minimum 3 years relevant experience

Education

Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
