Title: System Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical information, troubleshooting guides, and software updates.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to gather information and exchange knowledge on system-related issues and solutions.
- Conduct in-depth system inspections and perform software updates as required to enhance system performance and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced automotive systems, including infotainment systems, navigation systems, connectivity features, and other emerging technologies.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in automotive technology, attending training sessions and workshops as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of diagnostic procedures, repairs performed, parts used, and software updates applied.
- Participate in field tests and evaluations of new systems and technologies, providing feedback and recommendations to improve performance and reliability.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating system-related issues, repair recommendations, and timelines to customers.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to other technicians, ensuring accurate diagnosis and repair of system-related problems.
- Stay current on relevant regulations, industry standards, and certifications related to automotive systems.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex system malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email communication and internet usage.
- Qatar, GCC
- Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a team.
- Automotive Service Excellence certification in Electrical Systems.
Skills
