Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality of delivered items.
Verify and record quantities and condition of received goods in the inventory management system.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, movement, and location of items.
Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder requests to maintain optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular stock counts and perform cycle counts to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of items.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling hazardous or sensitive materials.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and consumption patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Purchasing, Operations, and Finance, to address inventory-related issues and support business operations.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory management processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
Assist in the disposal of expired or damaged stock in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in inventory management practices, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
