Title: Service Engineer - MTU
Job Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of MTU engines and related systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on customer equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site, using advanced diagnostic tools and procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and performance enhancements.
- Generate service reports and maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and optimize equipment reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and technical developments in MTU engines and related systems to ensure up-to-date knowledge and expertise.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues and inquiries.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service visits and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to provide comprehensive customer solutions.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain excellent customer relationships through effective communication and high-quality service. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical certification or training in diesel engine maintenance and repair
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA)
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Diesel engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Automotive industry, specifically in the area of diesel engines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for engine analysis and calibration.

- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
