Job Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze the organization's cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations and making recommendations for surplus funds.
Monitor and analyze financial markets and economic trends to identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations for appropriate financial strategies.
Evaluate and recommend financial instruments and hedging strategies to manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity price risks.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal control procedures related to treasury operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and risk management teams, to align treasury activities with overall financial goals and objectives.
Stay updated on industry best practices and market trends in treasury management and recommend improvements or enhancements to existing treasury processes.
Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management on treasury-related matters, including investment decisions, capital structure, and funding strategies.
Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Finance, Accounting, and Operations, to align treasury activities with business objectives and ensure smooth financial operations.
Continuously assess and improve treasury processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
Prepare accurate and timely treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, liquidity analysis, and financial risk assessments, for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Treasury management, cash flow management, financial risk management.
Qatar, GCC

Skills

Knowledge of international treasury operations and foreign currency transactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and financial markets.
Knowledge of financial risk management strategies.
Attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial transactions.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with treasury management systems (TMS), financial modelling software, and ERP systems.
Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling financial transactions.
Experience in managing relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
Familiarity with automotive financing, leasing, or credit operations.
