Job Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostic procedures to identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in vehicles.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess and determine repair requirements.
Repair, replace, and adjust vehicle components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
Lead and oversee complex repair projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior mechanics, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Assist in training and developing the skills of junior mechanics to enhance their expertise and performance.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology advancements, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with the Service Advisor and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Document all repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and repairs performed, in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and vehicle components.
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
Stay updated with manufacturer recalls, technical service bulletins, and warranty programs, and perform necessary repairs accordingly.
Assist in maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repair procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

Automotive
Qatar, GCC
English
Proficiency in using computer diagnostic systems and software for vehicle analysis and repair.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
