Title:  Product Specialist - Pharma Sales

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth for pharmaceutical products and healthcare solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, procurement teams, and healthcare decision-makers.
  • Conduct product presentations, detailing sessions, and scientific discussions with healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, regulatory, medical affairs, and marketing) to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer support.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, ethical promotional practices, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, medical centers, retail pharmacies, and healthcare institutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, call reports, and sales pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, prescription patterns, and customer needs to support strategic planning.
  • Participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, CMEs, and marketing activities to promote products and enhance brand visibility.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
  • Prepare and submit accurate quotations, tenders, and proposals in a timely manner.
  • Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and recommend suitable pharmaceutical solutions based on customer and patient needs.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and performance reports to management.
  • Support product launches, product evaluations, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
Medical equipment sales, hospital projects sales, medical laboratory sales Experience in a specific segment of the medical device segment (ie medical furniture, medical diagnostics, etc)

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Experience

Minimum 2 years relevant experience

Education

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
