Job Responsibilities

Maintain and update supplier database, including vendor information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
Review purchase requests and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance and operations, to ensure procurement needs are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and partnership.
Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement processes.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and receipts.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
Participate in supplier evaluation and selection processes, including conducting supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Stay updated with industry best practices, new procurement techniques, and market trends.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email communication, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of procurement principles and processes.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email communication, and data analysis.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and procurement software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of procurement principles and processes.
Knowledge of automotive industry regulations and standards, familiarity with international procurement practices, and experience in supplier relationship management.
