Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection, lubrication, and adjustment of machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, equipment, and systems, and implement appropriate repairs and fixes.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty or malfunctioning parts, components, and systems.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of spare parts and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations or findings.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address urgent repair needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques and technologies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Provide support during equipment installations and modifications.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely manner.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance or related field.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills.

Skills

  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation systems.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
