Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential business opportunities, market segments, and target customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the dealership and identify new prospects.
  • Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and other outreach efforts to initiate contact with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the dealership's products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of business with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with prospects to nurture relationships and drive sales conversions.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing collateral, sales materials, and digital content to support business development efforts.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the dealership's product line, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Participate in sales and business development training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in the automobile industry.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business development strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to achieve business objectives.
  • Uphold the dealership's values, mission, and brand image in all customer interactions and business dealings.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor analysis.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and strategies in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the job.

Education

Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
