Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new distribution channels, strategic partnerships, and business alliances to expand market coverage.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's commercial objectives, portfolio expansion plans, and principal requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and enhance market positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international principals and suppliers to support portfolio development, product registration, business planning, and commercial growth.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, clinic owners, procurement teams, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Drive sales growth across the pharmaceutical and aesthetic product portfolio by achieving revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, business processes, and commercial effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and medical aesthetics sectors, including hospitals, clinics, aesthetic centers, dermatology practices, plastic surgery clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions.
  • Lead product launch strategies and commercialization plans in collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Prepare monthly business development reports covering sales performance, customer acquisition, pipeline status, market intelligence, and revenue forecasts.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product availability, regulatory compliance, pricing alignment, and successful customer onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical and aesthetics portfolio, including product positioning, clinical evidence, market dynamics, and competitive advantages.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback, competitor intelligence, and market insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making and portfolio expansion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and opportunity tracking within the CRM system.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, customer opportunities, forecasting, and business development activities to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Organize and support product launches, scientific meetings, workshops, conferences, and educational programs to increase product awareness and customer engagement.
  • Participate in tender submissions, commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract management where applicable.

Qualifications

Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.

Experience

  • Qatar, GCC
  • Prior experience in managing sales teams in the medical services sector with primary focus on generating revenue and successful leads (medical equipment, hospital project related)
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience

Education

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
