Keep accurate records of electrical repairs, parts used, and labor hours for billing and warranty purposes.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repair activities and address complex electrical issues.
Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technologies, trends, and industry advancements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining electrical repairs, and offering recommendations for optimal performance.
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians in automotive electrical systems.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications
Completion of an auto electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent.
Skills
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of diagnostic software and systems used in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in automotive electrical work.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
